This 97p postage stamp hand woven rug is made in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, using pure New Zealand Wool.
The Queens Head is embossed so it stands out and the edges are hand carved so they are scalloped just like the perforations you get on a real stamp. These features together give this piece an amazing 3D effect.
Use it as a piece of art or as a rug either way it makes a great statement.
And it's good to know that the UK designers of this rug belong to Good Weave which is a global non-profit organisation working to end exploitative child labour in the weaving industry and to offer educational opportunities to children.
